About Mattched IT
Mattched IT was founded in June 2006 and focussed on out-sourced development but with the aim of developing and sell our own products,
primarily based around the Software as a Service (SaaS) model,
as well as providing high quality
bespoke development services.
Taking our existing skills and experience with Microsoft technologies (primarily SQL Server and the .NET framework), we have conducted
a number of bespoke development contracts, and are developing our
eCommerce framework.
Above all, we are dedicated to providing
great service
to our clients and offering
value for money
throughout our undertakings. We pride ourselves on having worked on a wide range of
different projects for different clients, giving us a broad understanding of how to gather (and fulfil) the correct requirements.
We have two main bases of operation, one in Waterlooville, Hampshire and the other in Jersey, Channel Islands.
Based in Jersey, Channel Islands, Matt Chatterley has over nine years of formal experience in Software Architecture &
Development and has also worked in Hospitality Management.
With this experience falling primarily in the realms of business support systems (e.g. stock taking, management/business intelligence) and
real-time telecommunications, Matt now takes primary responsibility for
Mattched IT's
software architecture and design.
Based in Waterlooville, Hampshire, Steve Hatchard has been working in
Software Development
for over fifteen years, spanning several industries
(including finance, hospitality and telecoms) and covering a variety of roles, ranging from Developer to Project Lead.
Steve's key technical focus within Mattched IT is on Database Design, Implementation and Optimization / performance tuning.
Based in Farnborough, Hampshire, Kev Jaques has worked in Software Development for over ten years, although his true vocation is in Graphic Design
(both print and online). Kev actually runs his own company, MultiLayer Design,
but works with Mattched IT on a retainer basis, and is a key part of our team.
He is also a keen web standards
evangelist, and our resident Search Engine expert.
Chris Wharton is a freelance web designer based in the South of England. He's been around in the design industry
for over 7 years, his experience is vast and varied. Chris has designed websites big and small,
provided design consultation, is a qualified prince 2 practitioner in project management and has
run a successful design studio.
