A Discount Voucher is a unique code which a user can enter into the order confirmation screen in order to obtain a discount. You can create or amend
these by logging in to the Administrator Menu and selecting 'Manage Promotions'. From here, you can choose to create a new voucher (or edit an existing one).
Each voucher has a unique code, a description (the message a user will see describing the voucher), validity dates (the range of dates between which
the voucher code is available for use) and a "usage limit". The usage limit denotes the number of times a voucher can be used before it is
deactivated.
You can set either a Cash Value or Percentage Discount against each voucher code. These are relatively straight-forward - essentially a cash value
voucher applies a fixed discount (e.g. £5.00), while a percentage discount offers a reduction on all items in the customer's order (e.g. 10%).
