The following changes were made in version 1.0.3 of our eCommerce Shopping Cart software (from 1.0.2).
- Released: Notification Tray Application, which permits bespoke shopping cart customers to recieve near-instant notification of orders and other customer events
- Released: Initial version of eCommerce API - the beginnings of an API which will be made public (with secure authentication), allowing 3rd party integration into our eCommerce system
- Added: Collect at Store functionality allowing orders to be marked for collection (no postage charge applied)
- Added: Opening times (aka Availability Times), permitting categories to be restricted based upon time (and day of week), e.g. for use in food service to apply kitchen opening times
- Added: Simple Product Tagging framework, allowing products to be labelled - this will be integrated with advanced search functionality in the future
- Added: Custom Data Field in basket/order - this permits the conveyance of bespoke data, e.g. special instructions, kitchen message, etc along with an order
- Added: Repeatable modifiers; an extention to our modifier functionality, allowing them to repeat in the data format
