Almost every Web Design & Development company offers
eCommerce services
(or E-Commerce, sometimes even ECommerce or "E Commerce" - depending on spelling preferences), so we'd like to take a few moments to explain how ours is
different and better suited to your business.
Traditionally there are two main choices for launching an eCommerce venture (or creating a new revenue
stream within an existing business) - open source offerings, such as OSCommerce or bespoke solutions from a Web Designer/Web Developer.
Each has advantages, although one of the key issues (particularly in the case of small businesses or
those who are not aiming to generate 100% of their revenue via eCommerce) is the cost - open source often wins,
as it seems cheaper to set up - although it can be expensive in terms of the time that must be spent on it.

Although some of our solutions use a template to create your eCommerce website, there are customisation options available - you can change the colours and images at
any time, add and edit your own text - and of course, we can customise other elements to meet your requirements. This level of flexibility is not always available - particularly in
"Create your own Website" or "Website in a box" systems.
By using common eCommerce modules in all our websites, we are able to carry the cost of the
eCommerce development,
so that you won't have to pay a fortune for new features. Infact, all our eCommerce sites are regularly updated with the latest features.
We offer a fully managed service with great support, so we can help you to cut the amount of time you spend working on your eCommerce site. Although we can only do so much, we can
certainly handle most of the technical tasks for you.
