Custom Web Design
We like to treat
Web Design
and
Web Development
as separate entities - although in reality a customer purchasing a Website from us will be
receiving elements of both, wrapped up together.
For us, the first stage of any Web Design project (eCommerce
included) is to discuss the client's aims and goals, to find out as much as possible
about the look and feel which they wish to capture with the site, and the types of interactive functionality which will be available to the
end users.
This allows us to put together the
best design
we can - this is a delicate balancing act between something which looks amazing and something
which is simple, intuitive and pleasant to use.
For informational sites, this means presenting content to end users in a clear way, and making tasks such as searching the site, obtaining more
detail on products, services or other elements and getting in touch with the business as simple as can be.
In other cases, for example with an eCommerce site it can be more involved - a clear site design, simple yet powerful product search and browsing components and easy, reassuring
check-out can make a remarkable difference to your conversion rate.
Although the roles of
website designer
and developer are very different, we use a process which allows sufficient cross-over that your project will be handled fluidly,
rather than being seen as 'complete' by one role - and then 'dumped' unceremoniously onto the next.
We continue to work together through the full development life-cycle, until your requirements have been met, and your solution fully delivered.
So whether you are looking for a web designer in Jersey, a
web developer in Hampshire - or indeed anywhere in the world - look no further.
We're right here.
